About The Co-Hosts
Aubrey Bursch

Hey, I'm Aubrey Bursch, and I'm the Founder + CEO of Easy School Marketing. I'm also a mom, lover of green smoothies and Peloton, and podcast host. I'm passionate about supporting small + independent schools to increase enrollment, retention, and revenue by designing + executing marketing strategies that work for them, position them as an easy + enthusiastic "yes!" for their ideal families, and highlight their uniqueness in a crowded + competitive market.
How did I get here? I've seen and intimately understood all sides of this equation, as a mom, a marketer, and an independent school professional (15+ years!), and have identified the missteps most schools are making in their marketing and how they're leaving money and opportunity on the table by not being as strategic as possible in this area of things.
My mission is simple: to support you to best serve your students, parents, prospective families, and development and marketing team so that your message can reach the hearts, eyes, and ears of those who need the special experience you offer. Explore the possibilities at easyschoolmarketing.com
Tara Claeys

Hello! I am Tara Claeys, founder of Design TLC - a professional website agency for small schools. I'm passionate about helping organizations provide enriching experiences for children by creating a great first impression online.
As a mom of two now-adults, I combine my parenting and marketing experience and perspective to the work I do for schools. This contributes to a fresh perspective on branding and messaging, as well as logical and data-driven website usability.
I have a marketing background going back to a time before the internet was a thing! My extensive experience with WordPress websites allows school administrators to have a well-designed and functional website within a small school budget. Design TLC makes the website process easy so you can focus on growing enrollment instead of spending hours creating a website that doesn't end up looking or functioning like you want it to.
As an entrepreneur, I spend a lot of time thinking about, researching and implementing ways to do things better, be more productive and help others. I love sharing tips, techniques and tools to help others up their game, too!
I volunteer in my community in Arlington, Virginia and serve also on the board of the Educational Theatre Company, an arts education nonprofit.
When I'm not working, I enjoy running, cycling, hiking, volunteering, cuddling with my dog and cat, and streaming Netflix with my husband (we love the Great British Baking Show!). I always look forward to Zoom calls with my children, who live far away.
